Underground Utility Superintendent

Utility Superintendent will oversee several utility crews and manage job budgets. The successful candidate will be able to produce the list of necessary materials and most efficient use of equipment, determine staff, training, and equipment needs, as well as translate the construction drawings and specifications to the field for execution. Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the work of site foreman and crews on-site at all times.

Punch Out Utility Foreman

The Punch-out Foreman reports directly to the Job Superintendent. The Punch-out Foreman’s primary role is to lead and manage Punch-out work with his assigned crew including, but not limited to, supervising operators/labor, managing materials and equipment, quality control, jobsite and coordinating with other foremen superintendents for the best utilization of resources.

Utility Foreman

The Utilities Foreman’s position involves administrative, supervisory, and operational responsibilities in managing day-to-day operations, maintenance, repair, and replacement activities for municipal streets, infrastructure, and related facilities. This position is considered a working foreman and is expected to direct and assist the employees in their daily tasks and activities. Specifically, this position is responsible for the maintenance and operation for the City’s right-ofway infrastructure including but not limited to: pavement, curbing, sidewalks, street markings, storm drains, sanitary sewers, manholes, vaults, pump stations, catch basins, cross culverts, snow plowing operations, sweeping, and cleanliness. The position will assume the some or all the duties of another foreman’s position in their absence.
